My early childhood years were generally spent taking pictures with a Polaroid camera that was given to me by my parents at the age of seven. It was a gift which I cherished for many years to come. Later on, I studied sculpture, printmaking, illustration and painting at the Escuela Central de Artes Visuales (Central High School of Visual Arts) located in Santurce, Puerto Rico.
At the age of eighteen I decided to move to New York and earned a BFA in Media Arts (Photography/Filmmaking & Television Production) from Pratt Institute. I studied Portraiture at the International Center of Photography under the tutelage of artist and professor Amy Arbus. Currently attending SVA.
